Greencastle High School

Juniors and Seniors are allowed to take two days per school year for the purpose of attending scheduled college visitations. While these absences are counted as excused for attendance purposes, students are responsible for all work missed as a result of taking a college day.  Students are encouraged to make prior arrangements with the college they will be visiting in order to insure a productive and informative visit. Upon returning to school after the college visit, a letter from the college or other official documentation stating the day of the visit with signature must be turned into your student's counselor or attendance secretary for the absence to be excused.
