Night School

Night School

GHS Night School is another program offered to aide students in fulfilling the requirements necessary to obtain a diploma from Greencastle High School.  Once enrolled, students can recover credits, accrue credits, and/or continue to work on completing alternative education courses.  The program is open to any GHS student as well as those requiring special circumstances (prior approval necessary).

Any course necessary to earn a Core 40 diploma (with a few exceptions) is offered.  These courses are taken on-line via Edgenuity with a licensed teacher in the room to facilitate timely completion as well as offer individualized assistance as necessary.

Night School is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays (occasionally days change due to instructor commitments) in the alternative education classroom at GHS.  Session times are from 3:15PM-5:15PM.

Regular attendance is crucial, and as such the following attendance guidelines for GHS Night School must be followed:

  1. Students must work for a minimum of 4 hours per week and 2 hours MUST be in the classroom. If they do not adhere, removal from the program is a possibility.
